THE ENDGAME MEME!

STEP 2: ►► FAST FORWARD!!! ►►
STEP 3: NOW IT'S ENDGAME. Zecora became the new Composer, and with the help of her Producer, Neku, the UG now exists as a Nexus instead of a Jamjar. Many of your erased comrades have been restored, as well.
STEP 4: Post, describing what your characters are up to! Did your Players come back to life, or choose to stay in the UG? Did your Reapers stay on board and get sweet new Cantus forms? ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. (Also you can pick whatever worlds you want for the setting to be in - the Game still can move around, even if it is a Nexus!)

[Oh, whoops. Funny, for a second there, he was thinking he'd recognized someone nice. Ryoji just shrugs and smirks.]

Don't really know. Maybe I just magically came back to spite you.

[Really, Asakura wouldn't have put it past Ryoji to do that SOMEHOW, but he's not going to go out and SAY that.]

Would you like me to help you stay dead?

[It's probably the first and only time Asakura's offered to help anyone! AMAZING.]

[You're overestimating the depth of Ryoji's hatred. It takes a special kind of person for Ryoji to dislike, to be sure, but Asakura isn't more important than all the friends Ryoji had left behind.

So instead, he chuckles and shakes his head.]

No, I think I'm fine like this, Asakura. I'm not so eager to give up my chance at life so easily this time around.

[Sadly, Asakura's ego is rather healthy that way.]

Yet here we are, talking like this.

And it's only going to be talking unless you decide against that. I'm perfectly happy being civil.

[Even if he will make a few cruel jokes.]

[But then why is he smiling like this?]

You know, I've gotten something new since I last saw you...

[Yes, that's definitely not a nice smile.]

[Oh, Ryoji can tell that is not a nice smile, and he's already tensing up, prepared to fight... though he's not sure if he has Thanatos any longer or if he'll have to try to use pins.]

Shame that I'm not interested in seeing it. You can show it to someone who cares. Or don't. Honestly, I'd prefer it if you backed off entirely.

Since when have I ever worried about what you preferred?

[Uh-oh, he's drawn his deck, and knowing him, that's probably a sign he's about to show that form off anyways.]

Since you know that I could destroy you if I preferred to.

[Then he can show off. Ryoji will stop him. He has to.]

Maybe you could before...Henshin.

[And he'll transform, and for a brief moment, he'll look like normal Ouja, but then that changes, along with more impressive Reaper wings.]

But now? We'll see who has the last laugh.

[Ryoji grits his teeth and transforms into Thanatos right away, voice echoing from inside the skeletal helmet as he points his sword at Asakura.]

We will see. No matter what, I won't let you hurt anyone with that power.

[vexed_snake]

But that's my job, isn't it? Erasing people.

[He's casually rolling his head around, loosening up for the fight to come...because he's pretty sure that's what's about to happen.]

[notsogrimreaper]

Not any longer! The Game is over. There won't be any more Erasures by your hand.

[And he charges forward, blade at the ready, aiming to slice at Asakura's legs.]

[And Asakura quickly goes airborne in order to dodge that. Reaper wings: they're awesome.]

I never said I was still in this for the Game, did I?

[Patrolling the afterlife hassling people who should be dead? Sure, why not?]

And I'm hurt...you didn't ask about my pets.

[INCOMING. Asakura's not the only one who got a Cantus-level upgrade, it seems.]

Then what are you in for? To torture innocent people?

[Shoot. Ryoji's so busy yelling at him that he doesn't notice the monster until it's rammed into him. He shoves it off eventually, moving off to a safe distance, before sending out a Megidola. Hopefully an explosion will level the playing field, or at least provide a distraction while Ryoji catches his breath.]

I've got to say I like the sound of that...

[The explosion provides the distraction Ryoji needs, and it throws Asakura back, although his monster doesn't seem nearly as bothered. Still, it doesn't seem too willing to move around on its own. Asakura is the weak point, and it's waiting on its master's instructions.]

[After Asakura is thrown back, Thanatos charges forward, attempting to knock a blow into Asakura’s stomach with the handle of his sword. Despite everything, he isn’t attempting to kill Asakura. Injuring him would be enough… even if Ryoji will then need to find a way to stop Asakura from tormenting others afterwards.]

[The blow connects, and Asakura's still struggling to get back to his feet. His monster is now charging at Ryoji in an attempt to save its boss.]

[Thanatos is hit by the monster, but he isn’t harmed too badly. It does give Asakura a few moments to recover, however, as Thanatos shrugs the creature off and steadies.]

[Asakura staggers to his feet. He's too stubborn and too mean to know when he should just call it quits. He's running at Ryoji again, sword held out like he's going to strike. At least his monster appears to have been thrown off-balance.]

[Thanatos tenses, lifting his own sword to block any incoming strikes, while keeping a close eye on the monster. It does appear to be disoriented, but Ryoji can't take any chances. If he lets his guard down, he won't be able to stop Asakura.]

[Abruptly, Asakura jumps into the air. He's trying to come down on Thanatos in a flying kick. He's mustering the last of his strength to do this. The monster's trying to make sure Thanatos doesn't move out of the way, but if Thanatos is fast enough, he just might be able to block Asakura's attack with the monster itself.]

[notsogrimreaper]

[And that’s just what Thanatos does, swinging the beast around so Asakura attacks it instead of himself. The move leaves him feeling a little exhausted as well, but perhaps this will take out the monster and leave Asakura weakened.]

[vexed_snake]

[The monster decides it would like a nice nap now, and it falls to the ground. Asakura's swaying on his feet, looking like he's about ready to do the same.]

[Ryoji reverts back to a human form, but he keeps holding Thanatos’ sword, just in case Asakura makes one last desperate attack.]

Come on, you know you can’t win. You should just give up and stop trying to hurt people here.
