THE ENDGAME MEME!

STEP 2: ►► FAST FORWARD!!! ►►
STEP 3: NOW IT'S ENDGAME. Zecora became the new Composer, and with the help of her Producer, Neku, the UG now exists as a Nexus instead of a Jamjar. Many of your erased comrades have been restored, as well.
STEP 4: Post, describing what your characters are up to! Did your Players come back to life, or choose to stay in the UG? Did your Reapers stay on board and get sweet new Cantus forms? ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. (Also you can pick whatever worlds you want for the setting to be in - the Game still can move around, even if it is a Nexus!)

[It's a difficult decision that Ryoji needs to make now. He could stay here, albeit in the UG where it's safe for everyone... He has friends here, and he'd like to spend a little more time with them. At the same time, he is supposed to be back behind the Seal, and if Minato doesn't return here, Ryoji should probably return to be there for him however he can which his friend struggles with Erebus.

...But that decision can wait a little while longer. For now, he just came back after a nasty Erasure, and he can take some time to talk with everyone before he makes his decision.

He'll be wandering over in the direction of anyone he knows, sporting a shy smile.]

[Fluttercruel is sitting over in the coffee shop, sipping on some coffee. She'll be home soon, so why not just one last cup for the hay of it? However, she's interrupted when she sees a familiar face. The Flutters' jaw drops and she floats off the ground, her wings flapping and keeping her aloft.]

Ryoji...!

[She stares in disbelief for a few seconds before practically tackling him with a hug.]

Flutter-ch-!

[Ryoji can't even get the name out before he's tackled, and he cuts himself off with a surprised yelp. Once he recovers, however, he's laughing and squeezing her just as tightly.]

Well, I guess it wasn't just me missing you, huh?

[Fluttercruel continues to hug Ryoji. A mess of emotions comprise of the two, with Fluttershy feeling happy and appreciative to see Ryoji again. Fluttercruel is happy, too, yet she tears up and sniffles, trying not to cry like the child she is.]

D- don't you ever bucking get erased again!

[That would be a yes.]

H-Hey, hey, I'm not going to if I can help it... Please, don't cry. It's okay now.

[He's not letting go any time soon, either, trying to make sure Fluttercruel has calmed down before even thinking of getting some distance between them. Besides, he kind of likes this. It's good to be able to feel things-physically, now that he has his body back, and emotionally, now that there's no more Player entry fees that would take away something that important-again.]

[Fluttercruel continues to cling.]

I know. I really, really missed you too...

But hey, I'm here now. We can catch up on that lost time, no problem! How long was I gone?

[Cruelly manages to calm down a little. She's still distraught, but she's no longer on the verge of crying.]

A long time... Eight weeks, I think...

...Catching up sounds good.

[...Woah, okay, he doesn't recall it being nearly that long. Granted, he tends to lose track of time when he's dead but...]

I'm so sorry, Fluttercruel. I didn't realize it had been nearly that long. I guess I have a lot of time to make up for... and a lot of cups of coffee, huh?

[Asakura's walking by, minding his own business...when he stops and does a double-take at who he sees walking towards him.]

How did you get back?

[Oh, whoops. Funny, for a second there, he was thinking he'd recognized someone nice. Ryoji just shrugs and smirks.]

Don't really know. Maybe I just magically came back to spite you.

How vexing...

[Really, Asakura wouldn't have put it past Ryoji to do that SOMEHOW, but he's not going to go out and SAY that.]

Would you like me to help you stay dead?

[It's probably the first and only time Asakura's offered to help anyone! AMAZING.]

[You're overestimating the depth of Ryoji's hatred. It takes a special kind of person for Ryoji to dislike, to be sure, but Asakura isn't more important than all the friends Ryoji had left behind.

So instead, he chuckles and shakes his head.]

No, I think I'm fine like this, Asakura. I'm not so eager to give up my chance at life so easily this time around.

[Sadly, Asakura's ego is rather healthy that way.]

Yet here we are, talking like this.

And it's only going to be talking unless you decide against that. I'm perfectly happy being civil.

[Even if he will make a few cruel jokes.]

[But then why is he smiling like this?]

You know, I've gotten something new since I last saw you...

[Yes, that's definitely not a nice smile.]

[Oh, Ryoji can tell that is not a nice smile, and he's already tensing up, prepared to fight... though he's not sure if he has Thanatos any longer or if he'll have to try to use pins.]

Shame that I'm not interested in seeing it. You can show it to someone who cares. Or don't. Honestly, I'd prefer it if you backed off entirely.

[One moment there's nothing; the next, a zebra casually joins his wanderings, hood up and a smile both on her face and in her voice.]

Well well, Ryoji, it seems you've faced
No permanent harm from the time spent Erased.

[Ryoji glances over to the side, and can't help but jump a little at Zecora's sudden appearance. He doesn't remember her being able to do that! Still, his surprise is outdone by his excitement upon seeing her, and his smile widens.]

Zecora-chan! Yeah, I'm fine now. I've never been better, now that I have feelings again... But how are you? What happened to the Game?

[Clearly, she'd just walked up when he was distracted... right?]

[At his question, Zecora frowns slightly.]

It only made the old Composer frown
So long story short, she shut it down.

[Ryoji was almost certain he just hadn't been paying attention. He's had people sneak up on him when he's lost in thought before. And if Zecora isn't mentioning it, then there's no need to worry about it.]

Really? So then the Game is over for good? I didn't realize... how is the UG still here then? What's going to happen?

The Game had to be restarted
To restore those from whom we'd parted.
It may really be necessary at all times
Like a zebra needs her rhymes.

What? Then who restarted it? Did the Composer decide herself or did someone else take that role? Is everyone who stays here going to have to stay in the Game?

[Because, as selfish as he knows it is for him to be thinking that way, Ryoji's decision may depend on whether he has to remain in the Game or 'live' freely in the UG.]

It's really hard to say what I should do. I know I should be supporting Minato as he strengthens the Seal, but... part of me still wants to stay here, where I have some sort of freedom.

...I know. I don't want to be a Reaper, but I want a life. It's hard for me to decide what I want, and selfish for me to even consider staying here.
