THE ENDGAME MEME!

STEP 2: ►► FAST FORWARD!!! ►►
STEP 3: NOW IT'S ENDGAME. Zecora became the new Composer, and with the help of her Producer, Neku, the UG now exists as a Nexus instead of a Jamjar. Many of your erased comrades have been restored, as well.
STEP 4: Post, describing what your characters are up to! Did your Players come back to life, or choose to stay in the UG? Did your Reapers stay on board and get sweet new Cantus forms? ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. (Also you can pick whatever worlds you want for the setting to be in - the Game still can move around, even if it is a Nexus!)

(Kreutzer shakes her head, inching closer to the Pokemon.)

I should've been there sooner.

(The girl sits beside him as she shifts her attention up at the sky.)

At the very least, things are different now. The fallen have as much of a choice as the survivors...Zecora is seeing to that.

[So Zecora actually... fixed things. That explained a fair bit.]

("I need you" is what she wants to say, but she can't bring herself to speak those words. Not yet, at least.)

...Zecora is giving everyone the chance to go back home. Those who don't want to stay don't have to.

...And if there's no home to go back to? Really, I don't have any choice but erasure. I'm not sure why things happened this way.

I've been unsure of that for a long time.

(A pause.)

I've...decided to stay and help Zecora maintain the game.

It's different. Your world still exists, there's just no place for you in it.

I helped undo the history that created me. I'm a literal paradox, from a time that no longer exists. There literally isn't a home for me to return to.

I was erased, but now I've been brought back into existence to... what? Choose between returning to nonexistence or returning to being a Reaper, only to be erased again down the line? What's the point?

...It's so much more than just choosing to die now or die later, Grovyle. It's proceeding with your life however you see fit. It's being able to choose where your life will go from here.

[There's a long, somewhat awkward pause.]

I don't do well without a direction. Before, I wanted to fix the Game, and before that, I wanted to save the future... something like "just live"... I can't really comprehend it.

(The girl giggles.)

You're a soldier through and through. Brave, selfless and eternally dependable...I like that about you. You'll keep fighting until the war is over.

(After moments of fidgeting with her fingers, Kreutzer finally moves in and hugs the reptile.)

Although the post war is a war in itself, you won't be alone.

[He doesn't return the hug, but in his own way, he doesn't pull away, either. In fact, he gets a ghost of a smile on his snout.]

Is that your way of telling me that you're the reason I still exist...?

I didn't mean literally right in this moment. I meant more... the reason to keep existing.
