TEST RUN MEME!

Welcome to the Test Run meme! Post characters you intend to play with their name and canon in the subject line. If you like, you can also include whether they're Players, Reapers or RG. Participation in the meme may be used as the sample post in the application. Please assume the game is taking place in whatever type of scenery you like. We encourage you to make up your own scenarios in this meme, but here are some generic ideas:

Players
1. You've discovered you can't fight the Noise on your own! Get out there and forge a pact with someone! After that, kick some ass!

2. You're looking for clues for the mission. Fire up your player pin and scan some RGer's minds, or see if you can find a Reaper that's willing to spill the beans.

3. Your timer is gone - you did it! Celebrate your victory and another day of survival. Why not visit some of the game-sanctioned stores and reward yourself? You're visible in any building with the Reaper Decal!

Reapers
1. Today you're on duty. Set up walls throughout the city and challenge Players to meet your conditions, or just sic your Noise and be done with them!

2. Your usual duty as a Reaper has gotten a little stale. Why not liven things up with some Reaper Sports? Challenge your fellow Players and Reapers to hide and seek, tag, or even a player hunt - for a wager of course! Or maybe the bet is over, and the winner is ready to collect?

3. No one said a Reaper has to be all work and no play. The Players completed the mission for today, so now you're free to live it up! As long as you don't go outside the permanent barriers, of course. If you're hanging out with RGers, you may have to make an excuse or two.

RGers

1. Play tourist. Since this is a test meme, the sights you see are whatever you like! Go out and have fun with your friends. Alternatively, assume that the world you're transported to is terribly dangerous, and try to survive!

2. You're wondering why you were given this Ouija board when you arrived. Try it out - maybe you'll find some answers?

3. You can't seem to shake this negative attitude, and it's only getting worse. You've been possessed by Noise! Try not to go crazy! (Or don't - isn't that part of the fun?)

Don't worry, I'll watch close.

[She'll even follow him, should he choose to look elsewhere, that's how close she'll be watching him.]

[He just sighs and scans the area, searching for the smallest "big" Noise there are. He finds one and goes for it, blasting it with flames from his pin (he's not dumb enough to take two on at once)]

[She's watching. And is definitely relieved he doesn't attempt to take on two at once.]

[He runs back a few steps, dodging the Noise's attacks while waiting for his pin to recharge. He glances at her only once, pretty annoyed at having to jump through this kind of hoop. With one more blast, the thing disappears and he sighs, running a hand back through his hair]

[poppetstrings]

That's one.

[He needs one more. And she really is sorry for making you do this, Axel.]

Yeah, I got that. [He waits a few minutes, at least until his pin is recharged and he caught his breath, before scanning again. Another one is close by. He walks lazily towards it, using the Psych again to get its attention before blasting it in its face]

[Why is it so stupidly hard for her to not jump in and help him while he fights?

... Xion really can't help it. She discreetly erases the noise after he hits it a few more times. ]

[He stares at the space where it was, and then laughs] Too easy. [He turns back to her with a smirk] So d'I win?

[poppetstrings]

Yep. You win.

[And that barrier is destroyed for you, Axel.]

[memorizethefire]

Thanks. [He waves a hand, heading to the barrier, pocketing his pins]

[poppetstrings]

... Be careful.

[memorizethefire]

[He shrugs. He's not really sure when it happened, but his self preservation seems to have left the building. He's playing just for the hell of it] Always am.

[poppetstrings]

Okay, so she's chatted a little with Axel.

Now he was going to leave, and she really wanted to follow...

Maybe he won't notice so much if she stays a little ways behind him.]

[But he's not that oblivious. It's only a minute later when he stops dead in the middle of the street, not bothering to look back] I beat your little game, why the hell are you following me?

[poppetstrings]

I-

[oops.]

I just happen to be going the same way as you, that's all!

[memorizethefire]

You're a Reaper. Go... fly or something.

[poppetstrings]

I can walk if I want too! I'm not suspicious!

[memorizethefire]

Yeah right. All you damn Reapers are suspicious. Isn't that, like, the whole point of you? [He turns around now, arms crossed over his chest]

[poppetstrings]

Oh come on! I'm less than half your size!

[Look at how non-threatening she is, Axel. SHE'S TOO SMALL TO BE A THREAT.]

So? You can still be suspicious. [Even if he doesn't remember her or Roxas, he still knows that the little people can be scary]

[poppetstrings]

What can I do to prove I'm not?

Stop following me.

[poppetstrings]

But I wasn't! I was just going the same way!

...okay, fine. [He looks her over]</small. You don't seem so dangerous anyway, but what do I know

I'm not dangerous, I promise!
