Welcome to the Test Run meme! Post characters you intend to play with their name and canon in the subject line. If you like, you can also include whether they're Players, Reapers or RG. Participation in the meme may be used as the sample post in the application. Please assume the game is taking place in whatever type of scenery you like. We encourage you to make up your own scenarios in this meme, but here are some generic ideas:

Players
1. You've discovered you can't fight the Noise on your own! Get out there and forge a pact with someone! After that, kick some ass!

2. You're looking for clues for the mission. Fire up your player pin and scan some RGer's minds, or see if you can find a Reaper that's willing to spill the beans.

3. Your timer is gone - you did it! Celebrate your victory and another day of survival. Why not visit some of the game-sanctioned stores and reward yourself? You're visible in any building with the Reaper Decal!

Reapers
1. Today you're on duty. Set up walls throughout the city and challenge Players to meet your conditions, or just sic your Noise and be done with them!

2. Your usual duty as a Reaper has gotten a little stale. Why not liven things up with some Reaper Sports? Challenge your fellow Players and Reapers to hide and seek, tag, or even a player hunt - for a wager of course! Or maybe the bet is over, and the winner is ready to collect?

3. No one said a Reaper has to be all work and no play. The Players completed the mission for today, so now you're free to live it up! As long as you don't go outside the permanent barriers, of course. If you're hanging out with RGers, you may have to make an excuse or two.

RGers

1. Play tourist. Since this is a test meme, the sights you see are whatever you like! Go out and have fun with your friends. Alternatively, assume that the world you're transported to is terribly dangerous, and try to survive!

2. You're wondering why you were given this Ouija board when you arrived. Try it out - maybe you'll find some answers?

3. You can't seem to shake this negative attitude, and it's only getting worse. You've been possessed by Noise! Try not to go crazy! (Or don't - isn't that part of the fun?)

[No wall-watching for this Reaper. While it's a lot easier in the long run, it's a lot more fun to be out and about, and that's exactly what Joshua is doing.

Ah, whatever. He's got no clue where he is, he doesn't have anything better to do, and in a strange sort of way he really does find the board hilarious. So why not?]

[Death was hardly surprising. Likewise, the rules of this game seemed simple enough. He didn't trust easily, but he knew the need for partnership in dire situations... anyone he met wouldn't be his partner, the one he remembered, but... they would do.

So for now, he sits perched upon the safest place he can be, eyes scanning for other players. A pact was necessary.]

[Having run out of ways to wander around lost and bored, Rin's gone to browse in a clothing store at the mall. Luckily, it's a mall with the Reaper Decal on it, which means she can see Players for the time being! And being a friendly type, she'll at least take the time to smile at anyone who passes near. So come and be amazed at her amazing ability to see dead people. She will have no idea what you're talking about.

[Is there anything sadder than an islander in a big city? Sora's gotten pretty good at finding his way around different worlds, but he's a little out of his depth here, and it shows. He's pretty sure the mission is this way--but he doesn't seem to realize he's taking the long way 'round.

He's also talking out loud to himself as he goes--no one can hear him, anyway, right?]

Okay, so, after this I just go... left? Left. Right. And there's two streets that go left, so... hmm. Eeny, meeny, miny--

[Riku wasn't exactly cut out to be a predator.

More like, he flatly refused. All he had to attribute his wiry wings to was the promise of keeping his powers and Keyblade - his ticket off this world and back where he needed to be. ~~He couldn't actually be-- Yeah.~~

The Conductor could've put it in the fine print that they'd accounted for world-hopping already and it was a no-no.

So until he figured out something better, he was kept to frowning with his back against invisible walls. A Reaper had to live somehow, after all, as much as it stunk.

Come on, Players. He'll make it easy for you.]

[Yup, this fighting Noise thing sure is a lot like fighting Heartless except apparently about 3000 times harder when he tries to do it alone.

Roxas has no idea what's going on as he slides back into a wall to try and avoid a hit, panting harshly. He could take solo missions against Heartless, what's the difference?

The difference, of course, is everything: he doesn't have his Keyblades or any of his spells, only a couple pins and his own battle experience. So while he's taken out quite a few of them, Roxas is still floundering and could really use some help. Crap.

Feel free to come laugh at him or help him, you know, which ever. ~~or pick a different scenario entirely I DON'T CARE~~~]

[Axel leans against a brick wall, tossing his player pin in his hand. Really, he has no clue about what's going on. He woke up here in the middle of a mass of people having no idea where he is. The past... he doesn't know how long is fuzzy too. He remembers... feelings (that's strange in itself), pain, happiness, laughter, and some kind of ripping sadness that itches at his mind, but nothing beyond that. There's more the further back he tries to remember, but what good is that?

Now to find out what's going on. Feel free to have your character notice their being scanned/give him a thought or two if they're an RGer]

[A hat covered in a handful of pins isn't going to do Hokuto much good until she can sit down and figure out how to use them all, but she's holding her own, backed against a wall, snapping punches and kicks into the five smaller Noise pinning her there.

One disappears, and she lets out a triumphant kiai with her next blow. To her left, a little clawed thing slices at her extravagant black and purple lace skirt. She shrieks in outrage, spins, and punts it.]

Do you know how long it took me to alter that!? Ugh, what kind of way is that to treat a lady!

[As it darts back in, she hits it with an accurate and fatal spin-kick.]

I'm a delicate girl, you know! That might scar.

[Neku is so unbelievably pissed about all of this. Apparently, the ban Shades gave him actually applied, so when he died (again)... he couldn't play. Which meant he had to be a Reaper. Which was possibly the worst thing ever.

So... here he is, chilling by a wall and not looking very happy about life. He'll be very nice to the Players, though.]

[Now this was a strange riddle. He knew of all sorts of answers to the phrase "What's black and white and red all over." Some playful, some darker. But none of them were actually clear to him. Despite running around searching for the results for all his answers, he hadn't found anything that would remotely answer his riddle whatsoever.

He gives up, and finally decides to invade some head spaces. It's not his favorite thing to do, since it feels like he's doing to others what Vanitas liked to do to him. Read him deeper than he ever wanted to be read. But even as he jumped through peoples thoughts, they only resulted in a couple of vague clues.

Maybe he needed to clear his head and think it all over, and breathe for a moment. So he can be found sitting against a building, grumbling to himself, trying to figure out exactly what--hm.

Could it be a clothing label? Maybe!]

[Most people would be skeptical about being given an Ouija board.]

[Not Dipper. Of course he's never had problems talking to ghosts before, especially vengeful ones, but given the situation he's making connections where he can.

So here is this weird kid in a trucker hat siting on a park bench with the board on his lap and an open book to his side. The open book looks old and beaten up and is open to a page about ghosts.]

[Maybe he's more the type to process paperwork, but Isa knows how to do field work for shady organization types. He may not really like it, but he knows how to do it.
